Thank You Carol!

Kind of feel bad for Juolevi. Having a late birthday is actually not doing him any favors. I would not be upset if he played another year for the knights though. He definitely had some bad games this year. I agree though, not fair at all to label him a bust regardless.

Hi guys. Long time eater, first time poster.

Listen, the canucks need to get bigger. I mean really big. They need players that possess obese talent, inflated skills, and a meaty portion of aggression.
This distended rebuild is a result of a thin draft record and roly-poly attitude from a broad group of lard-headed managers.

Kyle Wellwood, Dustin Penner, Keith Tkachuck, Vladimir Krutov, and of course my boy, Byfuglien. These are the types of players that have the weight and girth to be difference makers.

Nice alter ego there. You are a man of your word. Yes Nucks need more balance in their line up with players.

I also direct you to Lefty's post.

So balance with players and coaching will help the rebuild. There is material to work with now on improving goal scoring. So there is that to much on.

Again, managing expectations. This team is so desperate for a star every kid is going to feel the pressure. That's why this team needs a 1st or 2nd OA. They need a legitimate reason to get excited about.

Ease Juolevi in, will probably know by the end of the Young Stars if he has a chance.

You can start him in the NHL see if he fits in . You can send him down if he doesn't fit. I don't care about burning a year of ECL we will have plenty of cap space

Plus he won't get much of a raise if he's bouncing between the NHL and AHL for three years.

Can you imagine if the guy with the scouting background whiffs on consecutive top 10 picks.

The hysteria would be insane.

—but it doesn't mean Juolevi should be labelled an instant bust if he does end up going back to the Knights for one more year.
